2025 Main Stage Performers

Grammy winner Firas Zreik is a world-renowned composer and master of the Kanun, a Middle Eastern zither-like string instrument. Since 2013, the Palestine-born New Yorker has transformed global perception of the Kanun by preserving its identity as a vital part of Arabic classical music and by exploring its use across musical styles. 

Pokagon Band of Potawatomi (Bodawademi) will kick off our Main Stage performaces with a powwow demonstration. A part of Native American culture for thousands of years, powwow dancers honor and respect the materials used to create their regalia such as eagle feathers, animal hides and pelts, family heirlooms, and spiritual items.

Golden Tiger Kung Fu & Extended Learning Academy will perform the Dragon Dance and the Lion Dance. Both of these intricate art forms are deeply rooted in Chinese culture. The dragon is revered for embodying  immense power, dignity, fertility, and wisdom.  Symbolizing good luck and prosperity, the lion dance is showcased during the Chinese New Year and other festivities.

The Raion Taiko Japanese Drumming Ensemble from the Great Lakes Taiko Center will present a variety of modern and traditional taiko, performed on taiko drums imported from Japan’s Asano Taiko, the world’s most famous taiko maker.


Ballet Folklórico Sol Azteca delights audiences with their renditions of traditional dances representing many different Mexican states. Their brightly colored ranchero-designed dresses and regional music make their performances a cultural delight and a local favorite.

Motherland House Concerts help audiences discover Africa’s diversity through live music paired with storytelling from African artists both local and touring.
